What kind of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

Tyranny is probably established out of no other regime than democracy.

Is democracy sustainable in a country where you have no real growth for 50% of the population?

Despite ample proof of the average American voter’s cluelessness, why do we still insist on voting rights for all?

Democracy is characterised by three key items:

• institutions and processes that allow citizens to effectively express their political preferences and to combine these preferences into a package of alternatives from which they can choose,
• institutional constraints on the executive and
• guaranteed civil rights and liberties for all citizens of the state.

• 16 year olds should get TWO votes as they've got to live with the consequences longer.
• Blank ballot papers so votes only count if you can remember the name of the candidate.
• One person, one vote and that person is Sir David Attenborough.
